1. What makes the BWELL services different?
At BWELL you get services based on years of relevant specialist training and many more years of personal experience, peppered with a strong passion for what we are offering.

We always invite and encourage any questions and comments about our services as critical inquiry and healthy skepticism are hallmarks of well-being in themselves.


As part of the Mindfulness for Life programme you will receive comprehensive handouts and worksheets. They contain all exercises as well as detailed background information and additional discussion of key issues. If you prefer to develop mindfulness independently this information is also available in the form a self-contained ebook through www.amazon.com/kindle. The 'Kindle for PC' application can be downloaded for FREE from www.amazon.com.

A conventional paper based version of the manual is in preparation and will become available in 2011.



2. Is the “Mindfulness for Life” programme not just some form of a weird meditation, “New Age” mumbo jambo or just “psycho babble”?

Absolutely not!

It is true that the practice of mindfulness has been around for about 2500 years. However, over the past 30 years, this method has been extensively researched and found to be beneficial for a whole range of reasons and applications. “The Mindfulness for Life” programme is designed to be particularly easily accessible and relevant for people with busy lives. Here are some examples of respectable websites of universities, research facilities and overseas public health organizations, which will help you to find out more about the scientific findings on the methods and benefits of mindfulness.

3. Why should I spend extra time and money on my personal well-being?

Well-being IS life – as simple as that!

Well-being has been found to promote creative thinking, increased efficiency, performance and persistence in all areas of life. Being physically and mentally strong and flexible will enable you to deal with life’s inevitable challenges in the best possible way and enjoy the good times as much as possible.

Far from being a self-indulgent luxury, BWELL services will help you to make the most of life at work or home, when being with your family or participating in sports or other activities, which are important to you.

Keep in mind that your appointments represent a life long investment as you will be able to apply your new mindfulness skills, in particular, for years and years to come. The “Mindfulness for Life” worksheets and handouts, being given as part of personal appointments, or the self-contained manual, which can be purchased as an e-book through amazon.com will always remain a source of guidance and inspiration.

4. Does well-being not just happen or come from simple positive thinking anyway?

Actually, isn’t it true, that for most of our lives it is so easy to be caught up in our daily routines, responsibilities and duties that we often hardly notice what is going on? Have you ever thought:” I can’t believe that a whole year has already gone by - again! Where has the time gone?” When was the last time, plucking happy thoughts out of thin air made a real positive difference for more than five minutes in your life?
Sadly, if we are not careful, life can, indeed, pass us by and we may miss out on opportunities to savour our experiences.
There is a clear need to be pro-active and to MAKE WELL-BEING HAPPEN!

Tending to your physical and mental needs is essential for maintaining strength and flexibility so that you can enjoy life’s opportunities to the fullest AND take the inevitable challenges along the way in your stride.



5. Wouldn’t everything be great if only I got my weight, job, relationship etc. right?

It is a very common source of disappointment to pin one’s hopes for personal well-being onto one single issue or aspect of one’s life. Research shows, that even achieving your ideal weight or perfect health, having a great partner, getting the long desired promotion, building your dream home or moving to a warm and sunny spot, by itself, does NOT improve your well-being substantially for more than a short period of time – if at all! What really makes a difference is the ability to build a rounded and balanced life-style and to be physically and mentally strong and flexible enough to meet life’s inevitable challenges in the best possible way.

6. Are your services a “one size fits all”?

In all our services (Massage, Ortho-Bionomy and Mindfulness) we will discuss and explore your needs first and tailor our assistance accordingly. There is no set number of appointments. How much and how often you make use of BWELL services is entirely your decision. The number of sessions will depend on a range of factors such as your goals as well as the nature of any specific issues you may want to address.



7. I have never heard about Ortho-Bionomy, where can I find out more?

8. How many Ortho-Bionomy sessions does it take until I get better?
Because every client is different and everyone's background and health history is different, too, it is very difficult to answer this question. A rule of thumb, however, is that is takes as many sessions as the numbers of years which a client has had the problem for.
